Discount Furniture/5AA5 Split EP
We are very happy to start our year with fresh music!
On March 1st we gonna release a split EP with the artists 5AA5 and DISCOUNT FURNITURE, which both give us their very own interpretation of ambient/idm.
The tracks by DF were developed on the fly with an app called nanoloop (originally only available for Game Boy). After realizing, that one could actually produce music with this tool, the possibilities of the programm were pushed to its limits. It´s lofi, it´s trippy, but mostly also catchy.
5AA5 goes deeper. Somewhere around 100 bpm you get five very percussive, sample based downbeat pearls. These tracks produce their very own pull.

Wir starten in das musikalische Jahr 2022 mit einer Split Veröffentlichung.
5AA5 und DISCOUNT FURNITURE liefern uns in jeweils fünf Stücken ihre ganz eigene Version von Ambient/IDM.
Die Musik von DISCOUNT FURNITURE entstand nahezu komplett mit der App "Nanoloop", eine Software, die ursprünglich nur für den Game Boy erhältlich war. Lofi, vertrackt, aber auch irgendwie eingängig. Pretty nerdy!
Die Tracks von 5AA5 tauchen tiefer ein in das Ambient Genre und erzeugen irgendwo um die 100 bpm einen mächtigen Sog. Perkussiv, Sample lastig und ziemlich deep.
Bereits erschienen sind zwei tolle Videos, die man auf unserem YouTube Kanal sehen kann.
Die komplette Split EP erscheint am 01.03.2022 als Bandcamp-only Veröffentlichung.
