GHOST TAPES — SUMMER EDITION
In the summer of 2021, the label All My Ghosts and the graphic designer Iska Kaek started the mixtape series "Ghost Tapes". Friends and people from their environment present a very personal mix on two sides of a (digital) cassette. A good year later, the two initiators Nils & Iska put together a summer tape for you. Two pages that feel like the current weather forecast: clear to cloudy? Good weather conditions with strong air turbulence? 38°C and it's getting even hotter! Blazing light, the ball is glowing and we only perceive the shallow flickering over the asphalt. Iska starts her mix with "Let it Rain" and with Nils you can literally hear the bales of straw rolling ... In any case, their summer mix is no mirage. Lie down in the hammock, breathe in and enjoy the tape while listening carefully. Let the daydream begin.
Im Sommer 2021 starteten das Label All My Ghosts und die Grafikerin Iska Kaek die Mixtape-Reihe „Ghost Tapes“. Freunde und Menschen aus ihrer Umgebung präsentieren ihre ganz persönliche Mixe auf zwei Seiten einer (digitalen) Kassette. Ein gutes Jahr später haben die beiden Initiator*innen Nils & Iska ein Sommer-Tape für euch zusammengestellt. Zwei Seiten, die sich anfühlen wie der aktuelle Wetterbericht: Heiter bis wolkig? Gute Wetterlage mit starken Luftturbulenzen? 38 ° C und es wird noch heißer! Gleißendes Licht, der Ball glüht und wir nehmen nur noch das seichte Flimmern über dem Asphalt wahr. Iska startet ihren Mix mit »Let it Rain« und bei Nils kann man die Strohballen förmlich rollen hören … Ihr Sommermix ist jedenfalls keine Fata Morgana. Legt euch in die Hängematte, atmet ein und genießt das Tape im genauen Hinhören. Lasst den Tagtraum beginnen.
